Thread: Help....Malibu just died...

Ok, was coming home today and got about 1 mile form home when all of the sudden the car just dies. No sputter, mis, pop nothing. Pulled into a church parking lot to look at it. Found I was getting no spark. The coil, an MSD blaster 2 had oli inside where the coil wire goes. Thought I had a bad coil. Went and bought a new MSD Blaster 2 coil. Installed and STILL no spark coming from the coil. I have an MSD 6AL also. Checked all the wiring going to the coil and the MSD box. All looked in good shape. Could this be my MSD box gone bad? What else should I check?

i had a similiar problem when i was putting my truck together with the 6al box. But unknown if i wired it wrong or i bought it bad but the box was junk before i ever hit the key. so might wanna try putting ur module in by pass the box and see if it starts if it dont u have other probs keep us posted on what happens
