    Chevy/Pontiac swap??

I have a 1980 L-82 Vette with a 350 that was built up(angle heads, hi-pro ignition, 650 Holley, Edelbrock intake), and was kicking around the idea of putting that bad boy in my '68 firebird [URL=[/URL] , I curerently have a Pontiac 350 in it, but this Chevy is muuuuuch more gooder

Is this going to be a "major" deal swapping? Thanx, Kelly

A few other things to change, also. Starter on a chebbie engine is the opposite side of a Pontiac so you'll have to move the battery tray and some of the wiring. I believe the radiator outlets are different also. Might want to check that out.

The transmission mount and driveshaft should be ok as is, just a matter of drilling holes in the front crossmember to relocate the motor mounts. Should be able to use Camaro mounts on the crossmember and the block.
