ok well i took my carb apart the other day to check it out, my first time, it looked fine. In the process of checking my fuel filter i cracked a whole in the line from the fuel pump, to the carb. After installing new line i re installed the carb. after a few tweaks i got it running but now it idles really high????

Sounds like that hose was pretty brittle!Was there a filter between that hose a nd the carburetor? Maybe the hose was flowing all kinds of crap right into the carb. You didnt have a new carb on yet did ya ?? Stick with it buddy success is going to be really sweet for You Later DH

it was, i barely twisted it, and boom it was done. Yea there was a filter in between. Nope didnt have a new carb yet, same ol quadra jet. Now only if i could get the idle down-lol
