    Question Turbo Charging Small Block

I'm relatively new to small block performance.

Can all small blocks be turbo charged?

are there some small blocks that shouldnt be turbo charged?

Would the ZZ4 be a good small block to turbo charge?

    If not, what would?

    Many thanks,
    -Jeff

The ZZ4 motor has too much compression to turbo charge. You would need to get some larger CC heads and or some dished pistons to make it a good turbo motor. I have a friend with one and it tends to ping on 92 octane pump gas with no turbo. If you put a turbo on it and don't lower compression it will blow.
