need help on small block chevy please!!!
Got a small block chevy engine and was wondering if any chevy guys could help. It has a brass tag riveted to the front of the block that reads CLV-1 24832. Any ideas on what that is?? Also has dipstick places on both sides. Numbers on the block are: VO411CHH (not sure if its a O or a zero) , and 3970010, and B208. Any info would be very helpful, or any info on places on the internet that might help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The only engines I've seen with a riveted tag were marine engines.I intend to live forever; so far, so good.

It may be some kind of replacement engine and that was the tag the company used at the time? dont know never saw one with a brass tag before.
