    Question Oiling system question

I have a 327 block thats dated 62 to 65 and cant seem to figur out how to mount the oil filter. i bought 2 diffrent adaptors to go from canister to spin on but one says i need to use my stock bypass valve (that i dont have) and the other is just a mouting plate with the valve in it and fitting for the filter, but no filter will seat on the lip in the block with it. Any kit suggestions for getting a filter to mount?

The adapters I have seat the filter on a ridge built into the adapter, smaller diameter than the lip on the block.

deltahomer, i havr the same adapter but it says to use the stock bypass valve that i dont have. if i bolt on that adapter there is nothing to direct the oil from the main hole in the block into the filter, it wall just crculate under the adapter. and not to mention there isnt anything from keeping the pipe fitting for the filter to screw onto from coming off the adapter.
