Suddenly my engine is running rough
My 70 Chevy pickup was running great this morning for about 1/2 hour, than suddenly it the engine began running and idleing real rough. I didnt really die, just rough like its not firing on all cylinders. I checked all the connections from the distributor, they look fine. Any ideas? My gas was running low, so i added some, but the rough ride continued...
Any ideas???Godxilla-Stroker

maybe fuel filter?
The motor was recent redone into a stroker 383. The distributor was replaced along with the wires and cap. I have not tested to see if the plugs are working properly. Some buds of mine think it could be the fuel filter. I am not even sure if i have a fuel filter installed.Godxilla-Stroker

Could be you got a bad load of gas,,,,try disconnecting the fuel line from the fuel pump inlet,,and then hookup a line to a jerry can if you suspect bad gasoline,,it'll run nice if it is bad gasoline in the tank,,,it might be an idea to go back to where you got the gas from, and ask if anyone else had problems,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sometimes the obvious can drive ya nut's."I don't know everything and i like it that way"

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
