"267 SB is the same bore as a 350"
Uhhhh, Matt, I think you'll find that the bore on a 267 is 3.500", not 4.000" like a 350.
It's the same STROKE as a 350, but a much smaller bore.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

i won't go with a v8 that small...If i want something like that id go with the 292 inline 6 that i have sitting infront of my shop...more power, less cylinders, 100% guaranteed to raise some eyebrows when it rips off the line.
I was thinking about doing this: pull my heads and induction system and computer, put a 350 in place of the 305, use the 305 heads, computer, and put a the 5.7L holley injection system on it...How would this work?
I could also put a set of 350 heads but where would i get a different computer setup? I want it to be injected...the TBI system from holley is actually in the same price ballpark (for me) as the top end carbs (demon, holly, barry grant...ect) and it is more efficient and more economical. Producing great power still though.

are there any virtual dynos that you can punch in what the motor is and stuff and it will compute the hp/torque?

Just tell me what hp and torque figures you want to show and I'll send you a virtual dyno sheet for any motor that verifies the figures. You can show 1,000 hp on a stock small block if you want to.

its ok i found a virtual dyno...i punch in a few factors and it gives me what i want...
what i really need to know now is if that 350 on 305 heads/computer with a 350 TBI is possible, and if so, would it be successful?

That'll bump the compression because of the 58cc chambers but I'm not shure if the computer would like that high compression, also the 305 heads are low flowing. Vortech heads are a better choice, still cheap but better flowing. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

ok forget all the 350 stuff...I just bought a stroked 305 today (335) for $500 from my girlfriend's dad...he didnt tell me it was for sale until today because he was debating whether he wanted to use it or not...
it needs to be torn apart and the crank sent off and balanced...he's including a gasket set in the price so that wont be a problem...Ill get a longer rod and a better piston...He went with a shorter rod and a cheaper piston for time sake and he said up to about 50 mph it torques the hell out of you but after that its kinda weak. A longer rod and a flat top piston will fix that...
for induction im going to use my 305 heads but ill take them to get a good valve job and ill use my injection setup until i can afford another one. an already assembled 335 stroker for 500 bucks is a good price considering that the kits you can buy is like 700 bucks...
the block also just had its machining done about a month ago he just decided not to use a stroker motor in the car and he build a different 305! Lemme know what you guys think.
it also has a 350 horse SBC camshaft in it...he thinks i could probably use a little hotter cam but we both think that i should test it first to see if i want more or not.
