ok forget all the 350 stuff...I just bought a stroked 305 today (335) for $500 from my girlfriend's dad...he didnt tell me it was for sale until today because he was debating whether he wanted to use it or not...

it needs to be torn apart and the crank sent off and balanced...he's including a gasket set in the price so that wont be a problem...Ill get a longer rod and a better piston...He went with a shorter rod and a cheaper piston for time sake and he said up to about 50 mph it torques the hell out of you but after that its kinda weak. A longer rod and a flat top piston will fix that...

for induction im going to use my 305 heads but ill take them to get a good valve job and ill use my injection setup until i can afford another one. an already assembled 335 stroker for 500 bucks is a good price considering that the kits you can buy is like 700 bucks...

the block also just had its machining done about a month ago he just decided not to use a stroker motor in the car and he build a different 305! Lemme know what you guys think.

it also has a 350 horse SBC camshaft in it...he thinks i could probably use a little hotter cam but we both think that i should test it first to see if i want more or not.
