just wondering
how much power will it add just adding flat top pistons to a 327 out of a 68 vette

If it didnt have pistons to start with, it would add quite a bit.

even thow they are flat top pistons, you can still order them in different compression ratios.Chevys for life

It probably had flat tops to begin with. Most were about 10.5 then.

A flattop piston and a 64cc head will yield about 9:1 compression.
The high performance 327s ran domed pistons.I intend to live forever; so far, so good.

well
it has dished tops now and it is bored 30 over, i am wanting to push like 350 to 375 hp. and yes it has pistons in it now ha ha. i have not started building or ordering yet cuz i want advise, so just tell me what you need to know.
