    how much power will it add just adding flat top pistons to a 327 out of a 68 vette

    If it didnt have pistons to start with, it would add quite a bit.

    even thow they are flat top pistons, you can still order them in different compression ratios.

    It probably had flat tops to begin with. Most were about 10.5 then.

    A flattop piston and a 64cc head will yield about 9:1 compression.

    The high performance 327s ran domed pistons.

    well

     



    it has dished tops now and it is bored 30 over, i am wanting to push like 350 to 375 hp. and yes it has pistons in it now ha ha. i have not started building or ordering yet cuz i want advise, so just tell me what you need to know.
