LO5 is either :

A. a 5.7 liter (350 cid) hydraulic roller cam v8 from 1989-1993 police (9C1) Caprice, 190 to 205 fwhp depending on model year. Uses L98 cam from the Fcar;

or

B. a 5.7 liter (350 cid) hydraulic roller cam v8 from 1991-1993 passenger car (non-police) Olds Custom Cruiser wagon (1991-1992), Buick Roadmaster sedan and wagon 1991-1993, and Caprice LTZ (1993); all 180 fwhp. Uses same cam as LO3 5.0 liter (305 cid) engine. This one is the Goodwrench engine you mentioned;

or

C. a 5.7 liter (350 cid) hydraulic flat tappet cam v8. 19??-1995 light trucks, up to 210 fwhp depending on model year.

IIRC all use the swirl intake port head, either 191 or 193 suffix in the casting number.
