First off the plugs dont look that bad ,nice soft brown little bid of black but i thought that would be because it is set rich for the NOS.
Once the car get to like 185 190 Degrees it runs pretty good, but then warm ,cold getting it started again is the pain, Like i said Timming last checked was 12 Before TDC, Is this close to what it should be?
As far as the 883 casting heads, This is what i have gotten from the prior owner so i have no idea what he means. it is supose to be a list from the engine builder which is in Utah.
What is a 882as mentioned or 883 casting head?????
As wires go it has the MSD 8.5 supper conductors these are all new.
This motor has little more than 1000 miles on it. Timming is my thouht, as it sits right now 12 degrees before TDC is all it can go because the vaccum advance hits the tunnel ram so if it needs to be closer to 3 or 4 degrees i will have to jump teeth on the distributor.
Any guess on HP??????
