327 rebuild
I have found a 327 at my dad's house. I am thinking of rebuilding it for my 63 chevy pickup. It did not have heads on it. (1)what heads sould I look for. I am building for street use any help will be appreciated.

64cc SBC 350 heads will work. Both the 350 and 327 have a 4" bore.Chevys for life

The best bang for the buck will be the L31 Vortec heads. You can buy a set of them new for under $500 and they'll outflow any previous small block head that Chevy ever produced. They'll also have hard seats that the earlier (before 1972) heads didn't have.
You have to use a Vortec-specific manifold with them, but you'd probably be buying a manifold anyway.
