turbo charging ideas for my sbc

Id like to start gathering parts and ideas for turbo charging the 327 in my fiero. i just want a small amount of boost, but the first problem i find is that the cr may be high at 10.25:1 with iron heads. but i was wondering that rather than replacing the heads and pistons that a long duration cam with cool plugs and 93 octain i might be able to tame the detonation. the engine has forged pistons, ported fuelie heads with roller rockers and a small cam for now. this is just an idea so all suggestions are welcome i dont even kno if this can be done with minimal sapporting mods thanx guys.

Here's a blower boost chart from BDS showing the compression ratio and boost available with pump gas and with race gas. At 10.5, you'd be limited to about 2 lbs of boost with pump gas.....

here's what you do...run it with either racing gas or some form of REAL high octane fuel...then go out and buy you like a 500 dollar 4 banger car or small pickup and drive that instead.

ok turbo charging the fiero is a dead idea. driving around yesterday i relized i dont need all that heat in the engine bay, and a turbo just isnt what is right for my engine.
so looking at other things to do to the engine for some reliable power, i dont know how much better a set of aluminum heads will be compared to my ported fuelies, but a new cam would be nice as it is just a 350 hp cam out of a 350. do you think that close to 400hp is possible with heads and cam on my 327. thanx guys and sry for my lack of knowlage.
    engine now:
    327 4 bolt main
    lightened crank
    forged pistons 10.25:1 cr
    ported fulie heads
    edelbrock torquer intake
    1.6 roller rockers.
    cam from 350hp 350ci

Just found this message board.Wanted to reply to the compression ratio used with a turbo.I have a daily driver 11.1 sbc that handles 6psi boost very well on pump gas.
If your interested in how to set it up let me know an ill help you get 450hp out of that 350 as a daily driver.
