putting305heads on my 350
ok guys i need some advice iam trying to get a little more power out of my 350 it has a edelbrock proformer intake flowtech headers a edelbrock650carb 2 1/2 glass packs with 3inch dumps and 373 gears in the rear and iam about to put a lunatti 292 cam in it and those 305heads
they have1.84/1.5valves and 58cc chambers how will those heads help?

Will, you'll need at least 10.5:1 compression ratio to make that cam work. And unless you disassemble the motor and zero deck it with a tight squish (0.035" to 0.040"), you won't be able to run pump gas of any kind without the motor detonating. The cam is gonna want to make power from 3,400 to 6,400 and the heads are gonna want to make power from idle to maybe 4,800. I'd say you're gonna have a mis-matched combination.
