if someone has tried this and it won't work Please lrt me know so i don't waste time and money....a .040 400ci with a 3' stoke [283] ends up at 327.....large bore short stroke -- not much torque down low ..but should screem on top ???

nope i don't have the parts ..what we have is an old FED fueler that now has a sb chev ...this thing with just a stock 350/glide is a real tire smoker and we are trying to come up with the best combo. ...thinking less torque and more top end would be better ie. 1300lb. with driver 196''/wb/..4.56 gears ..32-14-15 firestones with a hope of moving up to alcohol ..and then adding POP...it costs no more to dream in color!!!! we do have the 400 and a lg. 327 crank and are asking more about the differance between --big bore short stroke ...and stroker motors ie.small bore long stroke.....the 3'' would have to be a custom crank...i was just kind of day dreaming to the extreme... Now that my dads done I can say thanks. I am Dave's son Greg and i just want to say thanks for all of the imput and we appreciate any more info.
