i was trying to make a joke, but that is a lot of money to put in a st. motor he didnt say what he was gonna do with it, but if its not for all out racing you dont need all that HP no way. i had a 600 hp blower motor i drove everyday and couldn't out run nobody on the st.

Yes, I had a few 454 blower motors that I drove daily that would spin the tires in 2nd gear like most cars would in low. low gear was no good to me. It could have been made to hook up, but then it wouldn't have drove and rode as good as it did. hard to have both with that much HP.

Yep, big horsepower on the street is hard (very hard) to handle. Got to roll out easy & then gradually get on it..too much throttle & the tires go up in smoke..at ANY speed. Have to say it's great fun though BTW, I've tried everything to hook up on the street...nothing seemed to work. Got rid of the 4-link & coil overs..going to a 4-bar & air ride.. she may not hook, but the ride will be better.
