Go to that link and look at that 350 SBC. I am in this North Carolina Ford Truck Owner Group club and one of the guys there owns or runs that shop and builds motors. He said he would sell that one on there to me for 1900 bucks. What are your recommendations on it? He is going to give me more info on this thing like the HP and Torque ratings, parts used, compression, etc. When it says .40 over then what will that make this thing? 355? I don't know all that stuff yet. My father is not going with a crate motor for the 85 C10 anymore because we hear they have too many problems so we are going to either have one built or get a short block and do the rest ourselves since we don't have the tools for measuring clearances, etc.
