    Question first build

    hey guys,

im buying a new engine, im buying a new gm long block and im putting all the accessories from the old engine that i have on the new one. thing is i dont know what exactly i have on the old engine, cuz i havent pulled it yet. i know it has a holly 4 bbl but im not sure what size, it has hooker headers, not sure how big, and a edelbrock intake, and for now im gonna leaave on the stock heads on the new block, the only thing im going to change is the cam, and im not sure what the best one would be. but given the info i have what would be the max output of horse power on the new engine, with headers, 600cfm carb and a new cam? maybe a comp cam 268? thanks for any info and tips
