Same Cam Question
I have almost the same Cam question as another guy had, but he never really got his answer.
We bought a 1967 Camaro SS 350 that needed a total resto. Ironically, when I started to take the motor apart, I found it had recently (by that I mean in terms of miles, not in years) been rebuilt. Although the outside of the motor was pretty dirty, the inside was sparkling clean, the cylinders still had nice hone marks, the rods were straight and true, the rockers, lifters, cam, pistons, crank (visual), and everything else looked fantastic. The old owner never told me about the engine rebuild or that he completely rebuilt the brakes.
The cam I can't identify.
It has the following markings:
274 on the end
between the lobes: 1529
D18
C16 (I think it's a C)
CWC
I have no idea of the specs of the cam, the manufacturer, the lifters, etc. The lifters are hydraulic, that's all the other info that I know. Anyone know who makes this cam, what the specs are, what the degrees are, or anything else? Thanks.

Cam Question
Lol, no not Greg.
Does he have a 67 350SS? Did he also have the same cam question, lmol.
I was also looking for a pic of a first Gen Camaro with a white vinyl top (not convertible, vinyl), because my trim tag says R-1, but someone removed it and painted the top R-R. I want to restore it to R-1, I think, but I want to see one. Thanks.

I use Crane's site to spec in cams, couldn't locate a 274 degree cam, but here is a 272 ground on 110 degree lobe centers. Read the description in the upper right hand corner and you'll get a pretty good idea of your cam's qualities......

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
