LT1 Motor Mounts
Hello,
I am building a Willys Jeep pickup that came to me with a Chevy 350 already installed. I am doing a complete frame off “Rodstoration”, with the goal of making a very modern truck. I am planning on installing a fuel injected LT1 in place of the 1969 Chevy 350 that it came with. My question is: Can I use the old 350 to weld in mock-up motor mounts? I am speaking of the part of the mount that is welding to the frame. Will the LT1 allow me to drop it in using the same long thru hole bolt to the new mount I used from the original 350? I would like to all the dirty work with the old block as far as all the welding and then have the frame powder coated and be able to get a fresh LT1 to drop in with no modification after the fact. Sorry for the bad explaination, hope you understand my question.
Thanks!

We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
