Secondly...sell the Mopar engine , you should be able to get plenty of money for a running 383 to buy another small block chevy75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered

There is absolutly no way to bolt a mopar big block in an S-10 without welding and serious modifications. It's a custom fit and I don't know of a company that makes that kit..Like posted earlier though, nothing else will work either...You will need custom motor mounts, most likely welded brackets and a custom cross member for the trans and a custom drive shaft to go from the torqueflite to the GM rear end. If you wanted to do a small block chevy though, there are bolt on kits to do the swap..RAY

Its not always as hard as you'd think. A couple of guys got a 400 Chevy from me and dropped it in a '66 Ford pickup. The Chev motor mounts dropped right in the Ford frame mounts! An angle iron back X-member and a junkyard scrounge for a driveshaft and they were on the road in a day!
And a Happy Birthday Wish for Mr. Spears. Hope you can have a great one. :)
