    :) ????

Okay guys, this is short. I have a 1993 Chevrolet 350ci engine going into a 1968 Chevrolet Nova. It was fuel injected, but now it will be carburated.

Should I run an electric fuel pump, or a mechanical fuel pump?

What would be involved in putting a mechanical fuel pump, on my engine? I don't want to have to touch the cam, I heard you had to put something on the end of a fuel injected cam, in order to run a mechanical fuel pump? Is this true?

    Cheers........

I will assume you are talking about a fuel pump cam eccentric.I would run an aftermarket electric fuel pump with a regulator.

Being a 93 model if it is a roller cam engine there is a good chance that the camshaft wont have the fuel pump eccentric lobe on it. In some cases also the hole isnt even drilled in the block for the rod or it may be but it is undersize and needs to be drilled and reemed.
