    new engine problem

     



    Hi im new to the site i was wondering if someone can answer this for me .Ijust purchased a 350 350 horse just fired it up yesterday but as i was breaking in the cam after about 3 minutes of running about 2200 rpm the headers on the pass side started to glow red.I have a rpm airgap manifod a 750 edelbrock carb the car seems to have been running fine i thought it might be a carb issue but why only one side.I have the timing set about 8 degrees any help would be very much appreciated i am at a loss thanks jeff.

    sound like you're running lean harleydadof2. i'd be looking for a vac. leak. did the carb. adj. out ok?
