Power Steering pulley
I have a chevy 400 cid. A short water pump and the power steering pump is a single groove. how do I know if I have a keyway or press fit pulley and how do I take it off?
Thanks,

In either case, you still have to use a puller to remove the pulley. But the one you have is pressed on. Go to your local parts store and see if they have a puller to rent, or you could always spend the money and just buy one. The puller you get must be for power steering pump pulley's. The same puller is used to install it also.Mike Casella

I want to put on a Billet speciality power steering pulley. they say " Available in either 1/8” keyway or press-on shaft styles. Keyway pulley works with both long or short water pump applications (1966 - 1976 Saginaw Power Steering Pump). Press-on pulleys are for long water pumps only (1977 - UP Saginaw Power Steering Pump)."
Press-on.It's not the miles per gallon. It's the smiles per gallon.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
