hi, I have a 79' camaro with a 350 in it. I think that most of the car is stock. i want to biuld a motor for it out of a 350 that will have as much HP as possible. I think the 350 in it is a 2 bolt main and from what I hear i need a 4 bolt main. so I think I'm going to start from ground zero and work my way up. Any ideas on how i should do it? and is a 350 my best choice? i would also like to get at least 8 miles to the gallon. I also want this motor to be able to handle nos when im ready.

Will nos lower my gas milage?

Whether Nitrous has any affect on mileage doesn;t matter, as you won;t be onteh nitrous long enough to get 'mileage'.

10 or 15 seconds at a time. You may get a minute of runtime on a a bottle? (not sure, but it ain't much). Keep teh gas on more than 15 seconds, your either gonna blow up the motor or or wet yourself from the acceleration.

Youcan get nitrous systems to add 100 HP up to 3 or 400 HP.

Speed costs money. How fast can you afford to go?
