If he wanted low end torque he would build a 383. Some people like to hear the whine of a engine turning 8500. It not what you want Erik, It's what whomever is building the engine wants.
Why don't you go back and read some of his posts.Now pay close attention to his possible cam choice's.Now think about the heads he has.Do you think these heads breathe well at high r.p.m.s? Fact of the matter is most 305 heads are designed for lower r.p.m. Just look at the port volume and valve size. Do you really think the any of these cams will turn a large amount of r.p.m.s? Please read all the posts before trying to respond.
