if you have a 350 and installed a 305 balancer on it. then the mark on the 305 ballancer will not match up with the 350 timing tab on the block.

you can take a hand file to the ballancer, and make a new mark. just be sure the number 1 cyl is at TDC.

find TDC with the piston stop, then center punch the damper at the zero mark on the tab and put a dab of yellow paint in the center punched mark with a toothpick.

thats good, i wouldn't want the soup if the stop had been in it. i think i would have ordered the bride and let her pay for the tool, and make the soup.
