I can asure you he is none of those things listed above.
If you go back and read some of his posts you will see it is nothing he has picked up from any hot rod magazines.
You will also see where he makes an apology.
With that being said why don't you make an apology to Richard for all those wild statements.

Richard is one of those guys who ....... well, he knows his stuff, and when he offers advice, people would do well to listen.

Nope, wasn't bragging. Just wanted you to know that it was no big deal...Lots of us had different jobs. This forum is more for help and ecourgament to some of the folks new to hot rodding or getting into building their own stuff instead of settling for store bought then it is bragging about who has the biggest or best whatever...
Lots of good folks here with a huge variety in backgrounds and experience all of whom will offer advice without put downs or arguments. Just about everyone here through their life experiences have learned our lessons. One of the most important lessons that I have ever learned is that learning becomes very difficult when you think you allready know it all. I've been fortunate to learn many things from the members here, some with lots of experience, some who were barely 16 years old when they gave the advice. An open mind and a willingness to listen and learn are the best tools I've ever approached a task with....
There is no pecking order or heirarchy at CHR as is the case in many forums. Every post on here should be considered as information offered or experiences shared with no single answer being an absolute or irrefutable... It's all about opinions and everyone here is quite adept at expressing there's without fear of reprisal or put downs..... as it should be on any open forum....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

A man was watching his wife as she prepared to fry sausages in a pan. He noticed that before placing the sausages in the pan, she always cut off both ends, threw them away, and cooked only the middle...
