    plug wire suggestions

     



    Need suggestions for plug wirs. Had Taylor silicone ( red ) wires on the car but a couple of the wires burnt at the headers. I believe someone previously mentioned a sleeve that can be slipped over the end of the wires to protect them.

    Yes, this is correct.There is not a plug wire made that will take the direct heat of the headers.After all we are talking about 1,000+ temps.

    I had good luck with the MSD Superconductors....
    Never go in reverse when you can go forward.

    i have had good luck with the accel 300+UNIVERSALwith the spark plug end that you can bend . taylor have a big lug on the spark plug end that seam to get in the way of the header tubes. get a good set of wire loom .i like the RM looms this will help keep the wires in place
