    Had Goodyear 14.5X32 slicks on it for the STREET!!!! My buddy Randy called it " The Mystery Machine"---- Everytime you grabbed a gear it was a mystery what direction you were gonna go !!!! But hey, we all gotta be young and dumb once, right??????

    dyno proven from car craft and hot rod in 69 the dz302 had 350-360 horse. one of the most under-rated motors of the decade. they also rated boss 302 at 290 horse and DAVE should know they had more then that!! RIGHT DAVE!......
    btw i can get 350 horse from a 283 for under a grand. dont belive me ? wanna see a video? i will mail you vhs

    350 h.p. for under a $1,000 ?With shop rates at $70 per hr. or more I don't really see how this is possible.Maybe 20 yrs. ago.

    you dont put your motors together? do you know how? yes for under a grandl how well do you know your shopman?? for a 350 horse 283 thats an easy build just get it hones and build the damn thing yourself!!!!!!!1

    Have you ever been to a machine shop and checked prices?I really wish it where that simple.So are you saying you just hone the block?What about boring it?What about checking it for cracks?You are forgetting about 95 % of the machine work.

    i know them all thats why its cheaper ive had lots of 283 bored to .125 round 6 and none of have ever had cracked walls or anything. for an el cheapo build like that you dont need to machine the heck out of it anyway! BTW im not oging to sit here and fight with you like the 3rd grade you build yours for you i build mine for me DROP IT! just funny when people feel the need to talk out of there ass when they have never built a 301-302-283 HAVE YOU? and dont say you ahve just to say it. this place is now like work!, boring and full of morons. j/k

    no i just have better things to do then sit here and take a load of abuse from people who have never even built the motor in question. i go through this shit about once a month i think ill just stop coming to the forum because it really is getting old. ive been here for a long time but enough is enough. im just tired of of it. you wanna continue to spout talk about something you have never built only read about and read that it was a bad little horrible motor thats your problem. but lemme tell you something they arent bad little horrible motors they can run hard. period. GOOD DAY!
