90 350 with gen 1 heads?
Hey guys, got a quick question. I have a complete running 350 out of a 90 suburban. I want to use it as a temp engine in my 68 camaro untill i gt the funds together to finish my 383. Question is can i use my heads 292's on it with no problems. I know i cant use my intake on with the heads that are on the 90 350 cause the bolt pattern is different. I dont want to drop a couple hundred $ into a manifold for temperary use. So i wanna use the 90 350 with my 292's and edelbrock intake setup from my 383 for now till i ge the 383 finished. So are the first gen heads compatible with the 2nd gen block.
Thanks guys for the help.383 , Time for heads

If the bolt patterens are the same why do all the aftermarket intake's say there for 55-86 engines not 55-95? Are the 87-95 heads different than the 55-86 heads when it comes to mounting the intake?383 , Time for heads
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
