I'll give you some help. Place all the components in the box and hand it back to your buddy, then ask him for your money back.
If you need to replace the timing mechanism on your motor, go to jegs or summit and buy a Cloyes true roller setup.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

gear drives actually damage your engine, it defeats the purpose of balancing it, the noise it creates even with the quite ones, happens to cause harmonic vibrations thru your crank and cam, and just wears your engine out 3x as fast, they're fine for racing cause you rebuild your motor every 1000 miles, but for a street driver, its better to be able to build a nice tough engine thats not going to be needing constant heavey duty maintencejust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

There are better ways to get that whining sound from your engine."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
