327 build
i started my engine class today and i will be rebuilding my 327 for my 67' tahiti jet boat. its all original so im definitely using the 327, i know its not many cubes but its what i have to work with haha. what im looking for now is a good engine kit and a good cam. it is a jet boat so i dont need that much power down low, but my rpm's will never make it over 5500 rpm...if im lucky. the engine will be ran between 3000-5500 all day long so i want a real good engine kit to make it last. i havnt learned everything about cam specs yet...but i would like it to have an ass load of power between 4500-5500 rpm haha....and decent power between 3000-4000 rpm. i do have one question.....take 2 cams, ones power band 2000-6000 and the others 3000-7000...which one would produce the most power between 4500-500 rpm?
