heads
Just took off the heads on my car, it had been sitting for over a year. The question is does it make sense to rebuild my old heads or to just go buy new ones ready to bolt on. Is there a major savings either way ?

1. What heads do you have? If you don't know, get the casting numbers and look them up at www.mortec.com
2. What shape are your old heads in?
3. What performance do you want out of the engine?
The price difference would be dependant on what work your heads need. You can buy the best flowing stock head GM ever produced (Vortec) for about $500.00 over the counter. Then you have to factor in the cost of a vortec style intake. (130.00 Professional Products) Pro Top Line has some heads for a decently cheap price also.RAY
