I agree, I think if you look hard enough and turn some of the wrenchs you can get more for less. I am not a pro, but have learn alot by doing some of the work my self and asking questions here and anywhere to get the help, and researching.http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e44/tzamk2/

I agree on that, but, not in this one though. TUBJUB asked the question.
That's why there are different postings on different questions.

Hey erik erikson, I was just trying to commuicate to the question ask and to you. We can easily spend 10k and more on a engine I was trying to make a point that for some people a warrenty is not a bad way to go, and you can do it for less than 10k. and Denny W, book show that. All done with good intentions.http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e44/tzamk2/

JMO, but I doubt 550hp and budget even belong in the same sentence........ Whatever the motor costs, you'll need at least that much more spent on driveline and suspension to make it all work..... I would imagine the majority of 600hp bench racing motors probably dyno at about 400hp,,,,,.......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
