Sounds reasonable.
Check Ebay for "Turbo Kit SBC" now and then. I've seen quite a few over the years... Blow through, or draw through? Enclosing a Holley carb can be expensive, as the box can cost up to $850.. You can blow through an AFB if you use the marine (nitrofil) floats and seal up a couple of things (but they won't tell you that)... A draw through can have some lag issues.

A blow-through setup is probably the easiest and cheapest route to big horsepower with any motor these days. Performance Carburetors offers specially tuned Holley carbs and a new bolt-through hat for $169 to simplify hooking up a turbo or centrifugal blower. Their system can handle up to 28 psi.

Also, give a call to Arizona Turbo. They're on your side of town in Glendale or Peoria somewhere.Last edited by techinspector1; 05-10-2006 at 01:30 PM.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
