can anybody help????????
this is the 2 numbers stamped in, on the front, (V0624CMJ ) & ( 15d240656) . It only has 2 bolt mains, and I think its from around the early 70s ? small block 350? I was just look'in 4 any thing you could tell me? thanks.. And if you know of a site so," I don't have to bother you guys with my junk" I sure would apprecite it,"Whad'ya want for nuth'N, ..............aaa,rrrrrubber biscuit... ?"

The casting numbers are wrong for a chevy. Early models start with a 3,4, or 6 and generally have 5 or 6 numbers and no letters. You can goto www.mortec.com for a complete listing of GM casting numbers for blocks and heads. Also gives location of each.It ain't broke if you can fix it.
