Black Dust ?
here we go again ,engine 350 crate 290 hp chevy every thing is new, previous problems are on other threads, rough idle,just put new msd wires,rotor and cap on ,noticed old rotor had black carbon dust underneath,two days of new rotor and black dust under it, runs like it is crossfireing, no other carbon tracks on cap or rotor,is black dust normal?

plastic rub pads slighty marked,springs and bushings seem okay ?mark or scuff on one arm?

looks like one of the weights or both of them are hitting in the cap ..are the buttons holding the weight up to hi in the cap? hold the cap and turn the dist gear and see if you can feel them move free with the cap onIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

plates are wobbly, plastic bushings worn ? new distrib. (reman) scuff marks on plastic wear pads and bottom of wieghts.even plate with sir clips wobbles.i guess time to buy new distrib not remanufactured.
