if you can afford a harness then thats the way to go. if you cant, get a wiring diagram of the motor, and hook up what needs to be hooked up to make it run. i used the stock harness on my truck, but not sure i'd do it again. i had to get a new computer chip to by-pass the anti- theft, but you don't have a chip, so i guess somebody would have to change it in your computer.

if you have worked with wiring before go for it , if not good luck. you still need a diagram so you can identify what everything is. be sure to hook up all of the grounds.

the cats you can ditch .but the engine was designed to have the egr operational for best efficiency (camshaft)if you block off the egr without shutting that flag off in the pcm you will set a trouble code that (might) leave you in limp home mode or stuck in open loop (rich- warm up ) all the time..my sug. is to leave the egr valve on /plugged ..remove the vaccum lines ect. and the egr sensor plugged in ..as far as the V.A.T.S. vehicle anti theft system goes you can overide it for 2 bucks at radio shack..
thats if you don't have the original key..
