small block chevy #'s
Well I changed computers and forgot my password, waiting to get it reset.
Here is what I have, found a 65 C60 wrecker truck.
Block casting 3914660 pad #'s T0508HH 18S238434
Pass head Hump 3890462 GM1 B186
driver head Right angle 3947040 GM4 C27 8
I found the head applications but can't figure what the block was in. Found it to match a 327 Vette but, surely not! Not in an old rusted down wrecker truck.

From the date codes on the heads they were cast on 18th January 1966 and they are the second design 462 fuelys with a higher straight spark plug location, valve sizes probably are 1.5 ex and 1.94 Int. Other head cast 27th march 1968. What else to say about the block... Built in Tonawanda engine plant"aerodynamics are for people who cant build engines"

My engine suffix code book says the HH suffix code was used on 65,66,67 corvette 327's, 68 impala 327's and 69 impala 350's. Chevy 37's block casting info of a 68 327 would match the suffix code for the 68 impala 327. Rated 250 HP and originally equipped with a powerglide trans and a 4 barrel carb.
