If your temp sending unit is installed in head( not intake manifold) it can read 10-15 degrees hotter than if installed in intake. 31 5w

I have a 190temp thermostat and a flexolite fan in my ride with a brand new (well. 2 years old) radiator. She sits at 200-195 easy on the highway.. anything getting past or near 210 and i get panicy for some reason >_> maybe i'm just a mega-worry wort.

Water under pressure will not boil at 212.
Most circle track racer's and some of the drag guy's will run the a rad. cap at 20+ lbs. of pressure.
