    Unhappy Not starting/Burning Oil

I recently got a '69 El Camino with a 350 from a 92 Camaro in it. It ran for about a month with what appeared to be some minor skipping. However, when it was running it burned about a quart of oil every 200 miles. Now it will turn over but not start. I have very basic knowledge of engines and need some direction/suggestions on both issues. Battery is fine and the alternator is new. -Thanks

You got no compression. Your rings are so badly worn or broken, all of the air is leaving the combustion chamber, and oil is coming in.

Your spark plugs are probably fouled. (coated with burnt oil)
The plugs with the most crap on them are the cylinders that have the worst rings. A new set of plugs will make it run like new for a week or two.
