    11 sec. mods for a 350

Can anyone tell us what type of mods you would have to do to a 350 to put a 3400lb car in the 11 second bracket for the 1/4mi. Assuming a auto tranny and then a stick? Hope this makes for an entertaining thread. Thanks.

You need about 500 flywheel HP to do that.

It takes more then an engine to get a 3400 pound car in the 11's. It takes some good suspension back and front, the right transmission, converter, gears, and chassis work. The engine is probably the easiest part of the whole deal. Getting it to launch hard without a lot of tire spin and stop safely at the other end will take some work and it will all take a lot of $$$$$

...and I don't have a 3400lb car to put in the 11's, but I have had the pleasure on many nights to watch the cars at US 131 Martin, Mi. and have seen alot of bigger chevys haulin bootie. I just wondered what it might take technically ( in a smallblock) to get a big chevelle down in the 11-12 second bracket.

    Let's make this more difficult.
I have an old "slant six" Mopar.
I think if we all put our heads together we can build a 11 sec car.
