How much compression??
The smallblock we are whippin up is headed into a mid 80's chevy camaro. We thank all for the good info so far. This is mama's trailer queen that will see weekend duty at the local track only. Bracket is what it is, and you can win with a consistant 20 second car. Well we dont want to listen to the radio and make phone calls while we are headed for the traps, but we dont want to kill our financial future by building a 6 second jet either. ( just to get trailered by the 20 second car) Anyway, we are at the 350+.040 buildpoint, using the camel humps with 2.02/1.60, ported and blended. I want to use a hyd. flat tappit cam. We are going turbo 350, and would like to run in the 12's. We think this is possible without too much fuss. 12.99 will make us smile. Using the 64cc heads, what compression will make the engine hop without overkill here. We can use torco fuel. What grind range of cam? Ill fill in the blanks with what other info you need. Thanks for readin us."oohh...thats gonna leave a mark!"

I just ran across these actual combinations the other day. Pick one.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
