I could be wrong but, today I don't think you will hear of too many SBCs that go beyond 10,000-10,500, and live very long.

Come on Erik, secretly you must be amused by this. Denny's motor had to get a chuckle out of you. That was damn funny! Score 1 for Denny!

".... Pro Stock engines can also be no larger than 500-cid, and each car can weigh no less than 2,350 pounds, with driver. A competitive Pro Stock engine produces more than 1,350 horsepower and revs to more than 10,500 rpm. "
Quote from the Jeg's racing website.
Now if it can be done reliably by a big block why can't Scooter's small block go to 12k?
Or is this not a question of : can it be done now, but could it have been done then?
!!!!I'm so confused!!!!!

Hey you silly B-----d where are you? You just can not keep from trying to stick your finger in Albert the alligator's a--hole can you? Watch out guys, George has the determination to shove a snowball up a leopards butt with a red hot poker. He won't let this thread die. I might possibly start thinking this thread was a bad idea............Burt.

I just gotta know. It can all go away as soon as we can all see those specifications of scooter's buddy's homebuilt sbc that is still in it's powerband at 12,000+rpms. We were promised specs ...we've been patient ...it's been just past 7 months now.
...my butt sheeks are all puckered up in anticipation and excitement.

Thanks! It's the most metal forming I've done. I was wishing I had an English wheel and a planishing hammer.
