im thinking about running a solid cam now this will be my first time running one and wanted to know if there is anything other than the cam and lifters i need to put one in.Last edited by steve88crx; 03-18-2007 at 12:07 AM.

Gotta agree with the assessment of the heads, and also recommend a slightly beefier carb.
You shouldn't need more than standard length push rods(to the best of my knowledge, but pretty sure someone will explain why I'm wrong) to get the solid lifter cam to be effective.
It looks like you may have been a bit too agressive in your head choice, but your block and rotating assembly isn't up to it. You might actually be better off with stock heads than the Dart heads until your engine's been punched .060 over and crank has been swapped out.
at any rate, its just my suggestion and opinion, so take it as such.º¿º>^. .^<
