Bracket question for 283 please help
I have just rebuilt a 283 with the short water pump and headers. I purchased the necessary brackets for the alternator and power steering through OPGI. I have been beating my head trying to figure this arrangement out. The powersteering has a lower brace which is aftermarket and quite large and the upper bracket (adjustment) is small and has 2 bolt holes. I can't figure out where the upper bracket bolts to that even gets it close to the adj stud on the back of the power steering. I called OPGI and they couldn't even tell me. I would go to a long water pump and put the alternator on the pass side of the eng but the necessary bolt holes are not tapped in the 283 heads. I want to use headers and because of this, I need to use these brackets that OPGI told me I needed. Any help is much appreciated.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
