You need a 4,000 stall and you need more gear to make it work for bracket racing.

I forgot the carb,my bad.750 dp.Thanks for the help.So more compression, more gear, maybe more converter. Is there a converter that is recommended?A brand name?In my old budget built 78 camaro I went from a cheap Boss Hogg converter to a more expensive TCI with the same stall and it lost .2.Also if I went to an thin steel shim head gasket like .019 how much compression would I gain? And how well will this gasket seal?I really thank you all for your input.Anymore estimates on my E.T.?

The best way to do that would be angle mill the heads.

This was a custom grind cam, which I thought would be perfect for my combonation. Are you saying the grinder missed on the compression? He had all my info.I didnt like the lsa but he said it would be great.

And I forgot to say this car is street legal and will see a little street action. And maybe a squeeze of the bottle every now and then.

Yes,it will work.
In another post you talk about nitrous oxide.
With a l/s of 109 it will work but not as well as 112 or 114 depending on the amount of N20 you are wanting to use.

It is a bracket car first but still street legal.Driving the car is half the fun not just racing.I'm am sorry for the confusion.I'm am on a tight budget and trying to wrap everything into one car.Because of work schedual I cant run in the local points race, but I love to bracket race and take a stroll up to the local burger joint every now and then.As far as n20 goes, its cheap e.t.,and alot of fun.I cant run much because of the rods.I run a mix of high octane pump gas and race gas,and play with the timing. Can you help me on the converter choice?I dont want a huge stall because of the street but I know there is a middle ground somewhere that will work good on the street and track. What name brand would be highly recommended?Anyway I thank you for chimming in with more info,I'm all ears when it comes to help. Please keep it coming.
