    Head Stud Question

I have my 462's ready for the shop again to install head studs for my roller rockers. I see they come two differnt ways, a 7/16 bottom, and choice of 7/16 or 3/8 top (or rocker side), is there any difference in them other than the obvious 7/16 size is bigger and stronger? Like interference problems. No I have not bought my rollers yet obviously. Thanks. The new baby is due in two or three weeks, and Im tyring to get as much done before I'm sidelined for awhile.

Are you asking about head studs or rocker arm studs?
If you are asking about rocker arm studs I go to a 7/16'th's after .525 lift in a sbc.

Are you saying that up to .525 I could use rockers with the original press ins?

Well I thought about installing them myself, but I really have no way of cutting the bosses down accurately enough. I think their suppose to be cut to .250, but I have my doubts on how close I could get in the garage at home. Thanks Pat, how much should this cost me, ?
